All registered nurses and midwives are to inform the Registrar within 1 week of any changes of address or personal details, this can be done preferably through the online portal at Nurses and Midwives Council (gov.mt) or in case of any difficulty by sending an email with the information to [email protected]
As soon as the official academic transcripts and results have been published by the University of Malta / MCAST, thus confirming that you have successfully completed your Diploma/Degree in Nursing or Midwifery you will be eligible to apply for a temporary registration as a nurse /midwife with the Council which will once approved, will entitle you to start employment as a nurse/midwife.
Once the official graduation certificate is presented to the Council, registration will be on a permanent basis, and the official registration certificate will be sent by registered mail.
Please note that applications are to be submitted under the Temporary Registration as a 1st Level nurse for a period of 8 months until the Diploma or Degree certificate has been officially awarded in the Graduation ceremony.
